This project was inspired by conversations I have with my friends often. As the pandemic has worn on and tensions have continued to rise between political parties. These divisions, which were accelerated by Covid-19, piqued my interest. I became interested in politics because of how present it became in my life. I hope this project helps me understand the lack of unity in our nation, and whether unity should even be the goal we strive for as a nation that prides itself on individual liberties. The beauty of the democratic system is how it values all opinions while acknowledging that these differences in opinion are good for the balance of our country.
